Please join us in celebrating our very own Tao Laoshi!

Last week, Tao Laoshi was the recipient of the highly esteemed “ChinHuei Yeh Memorial Scholarship” (葉金惠老師紀念獎學金), awarded by CLASS at the ACTFL conference (Nov. 21-23, 2025). This scholarship is a significant honor, as typically only one or two teachers in the entire Chinese language teaching field receive it each year.

Additionally, Tao Laoshi showcased his expertise by presenting at the CLASS Swap Shop at ACTFL. His presentation, “Strategies to Increase Students’ Opportunities for Oral Response,” aligns perfectly with his district’s instructional focus since last year. Over 60 teachers from across the country attended, demonstrating the wide interest and value of his work!

This recognition highlights Tao Laoshi’s outstanding dedication and contribution to our students and the field of Chinese language education. Congratulations!
